Lucas Lovell has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Lucas currently holds the position of Director of Product at Paddle, a role they started in February 2022. Prior to that, Lucas had been Senior Product Manager at Paddle from September 2021 to February 2022, and before that, they were a Product Manager at the company from February 2021 to September 2021.

Before joining Paddle, Lucas was the Co-Founder & Managing Director at Hopstay from July 2017 to February 2021. Lucas also co-founded Tenderfoot in 2014, where they served as the Co-Founder, Business & Product from July 2014 to July 2017.

Earlier in their career, Lucas worked as a Financial Paraplanner (Mitton FP) at Godfrey Pembroke Ltd from January 2012 to February 2015. Lucas also had a Sales & Promotions role at World Vision Australia from October 2012 to February 2013.

Lucas Lovell attended Prince Alfred College from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma. From 2010 to 2015, they studied at the University of Adelaide and completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, a Bachelor of International Studies with a major in Politics, and a Diploma in French. In 2013, they participated in a Program d'Echange at Sciences Po Grenoble and l'Université Pierre Mendes France, focusing on Les Etudes Internationales.
