Tiago Agne currently serves as a member of the ESG Squad at IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa since April 2023 and actively participates in the Sustainability Strategic Committee at Amcham-Brasil since October 2020. With a career spanning over a decade at SLC Agrícola S/A, Tiago holds roles such as Sustainability Manager, SSMA Coordinator, and Environmental Coordinator. Tiago is also involved with the Round Table on Responsible Soy Association as a member of the Brazilian Coordination Task Force since August 2017 and engages with the UN Global Compact in Brazil as part of the Sustainable Agro Platform since October 2015. Previous experience includes serving as a Forest Engineer and Implementation Manager at the Secretaria do Meio Ambiente e Infraestrutura - Governo do RS from March 2005 to December 2007, as well as working as a Forest Engineer at Terra Nova Brasil. Academic qualifications include a degree in Forest Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, a degree in Occupational Safety Engineering from Centro Universitário Metodista IPA, and an MBA in Environment and Sustainable Development from Estácio.
