Richard Lavigne has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Richard began their career in 2002 at Maser Consulting as a Senior Landscape Architect, a role they held until 2010. During this time, they also worked as a Sport Compact Drag Racing Series Photographer for NHRA in 2007. In 2004, Richard joined SpeedLounge.com as a Media Manager and Director of Photography, where they stayed until 2010. Richard then pursued freelance photography work, serving as a Freelance Product Photographer for EatSleepRace from 2005 to 2010. In 2008, Richard became the Owner and Photographer of Anne & Rich Photography, a position they continue to hold. In 2014, they co-founded Crank Addicts Clothing Company and served as Co-Owner and Social Media Account Manager. Additionally, Richard worked at Hilltop Bicycles as a Social Media Photographer from 2019 to 2020, capturing and promoting bicycle products. Currently, they are with Pactimo, starting in 2016 as a Brand Ambassador and later transitioning to their current role as Custom Sales for the Northeast Region. In 2020, Richard also took on the role of Landscape Architect at Edgewood Properties, Inc.

Richard Lavigne received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Planning & Design with a focus on Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University. Richard attended Rutgers University from 1997 to 2002. In 2001, they also studied Landscape Architecture at the Technical University of Munich for a brief period of time.
