Robert Knapp has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Robert is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at PacMar Technologies since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at JP ANALYTICS LIMITED as a Software Engineer from September 2021 to February 2022, where they contributed to the development of the IRIS system, a middleware for acoustic processing algorithms.

In 2016, they worked at Hudson Price Designs / Nanomek as an Embedded Technology Specialist for a short duration, contributing to the development of their patented Nanomek technologies for electron microscopy. Unfortunately, the startup faced cash-flow problems and closed down.

From 2015 to 2016, Robert worked as an Electromechanical Engineer as a consultant. Robert also brings experience from their time at Hydroid Inc., where they served as a Firmware Engineer from 2008 to 2015, working on underwater acoustic signaling and subsystem design.
