Abbie Rice has a diverse work experience with a focus on community impact and development. Abbie currently holds the position of DEI & Community Impact Director at PacifiCorp, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this role, Abbie served as the Foundation Manager at PacifiCorp from 2021 to 2023.

Before joining PacifiCorp, Abbie worked as the Development Director at Wasatch Adaptive Sports from 2016 to 2021. Abbie also gained experience as a Project Manager at Draper Consulting Group from 2014 to 2016.

In 2013, Abbie took on the role of Trip Leader at Bike & Build, and from 2010 to 2012, they served as a TEFL Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps.

Abbie Rice has a BA in Sociology/Anthropology and History from Washington and Lee University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. From 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Nonprofit Management at the University of Southern California. Currently, they are attending the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business, working towards a Certificate in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy, expected to be completed in 2023.
