Yann Ramirez Vincent

Yann Ramirez Vincent has a diverse work experience primarily focused on aquaculture and seafood production. Yann began their career as a technician at FRANCE TURBOT in 2004 before moving on to become a farm manager at MaxMar Mariscos S.A. de C.V. from 2006 to 2008, where they oversaw the production of shellfish seed and the development of oysters and Manila clams for commercial sale. Yann then worked as a production manager and quality control manager at Baja Marine Foods S.A.P.I. de CV. from 2009 to 2010, where they managed a processing facility and implemented quality control measures for seafood products. Yann subsequently served as a farm manager at Cultivando el Futuro del Golfo S. de R.L de C.V. from 2010 to 2014, focusing on the production and development of geoduck clam seed. Since 2015, Yann has been at Pacifico Aquaculture, starting as an assistant hatchery manager and progressing to hatchery manager and later hatchery director. In their current role as vice president of operations, they oversee various aspects of a land-based RAS production facility, including expansion projects, team management, budgeting, and community engagement. Throughout their career, Yann has demonstrated strong leadership, expertise in forecasting and budgeting, and a focus on achieving production targets.

Yann Ramirez Vincent holds a Master's degree in Aquaculture from the University of Stirling, which they obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Oceanography from the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, where they studied from 1998 to 2004. During their undergraduate studies, they also spent a year abroad at the Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso (UCV) in 2002-2003, focusing on Aquaculture. In addition to their formal education, Yann holds an Advanced Diver certification from PADI, although the exact date of certification is not provided.
