Robert Hackney currently serves as the Director of Finance at Pacific Wild, a position held since March 2020, where previous responsibilities included the role of Finance Manager. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Accounting Manager at Smolski and Family Public Accountants from November 2017 to November 2019, where Robert designed and implemented internal frameworks and workflows for cloud-based client engagements. Additional roles include Implementation Consultant at Agilyx Solutions from July 2016 to September 2017, Senior Accountant at Stimpson CPA, and Tax Auditor for the Canada Revenue Agency from November 2013 to April 2015, where Robert audited taxpayer returns and ensured compliance with relevant statutes. Robert began their career as a Junior Accountant at Pomponio and Company. Academically, Robert is a Chartered Professional Accountant certified from CPA Canada and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Camosun College.
