Kevin Lester is a highly skilled Geographic Information System Specialist with extensive experience in conservation-related projects and spatial ecology. Currently employed at Pacific Wild since February 2023, Kevin creates complex GIS solutions to analyze government data pertinent to conservation in British Columbia. As a Contract GIS Specialist at Kevin Lester GIS, Kevin consults on global GIS projects for high-profile clients. Previous roles include providing technical GIS support at the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission, developing public webmaps for Fairventures Worldwide, and collaborating on special projects with National Geographic. Kevin holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from The Evergreen State College and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Pacific Lutheran University.
