Todd Gardner has an extensive work experience in the ironworking industry. Todd started their career at Romak Iron Works in 1988 as a Journeyman Ironworker and worked there until 1989. In 1984, Gardner joined Gardner Brothers as a Journeyman Ironworker Local 378 and remained in that role until 1990. In 1990, they moved on to Pacific Stair Corporation, where they became the COO and currently holds that position.

Todd Gardner's education history includes several achievements. In 1979, they obtained their high school diploma from Gervais High School, where their field of study comprised General, Drafting, and Shop-Welding. Todd furthered their education by attending Ironworkers Local 378 from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a Certificate of Completion in Steel Erection. Additionally, in 2008-2009, Gardner attended Chemeketa Community College, where they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Business Management.
