Lynn Westerland has vast experience in payroll management, starting with their role at Rockwell Collins as a Senior Tax Accountant, Payroll in 1997. Lynn then moved on to become the Manager, Payroll Tax at First American Financial Corporation, where they managed payroll processing for a large number of multi-state employees. From there, Lynn took on the role of AVP, Payroll Manager at California Republic Bank, where they oversaw payroll operations and transitioned to an in-house payroll system. Lynn then joined Paramount Equity Mortgage, LLC as a Payroll Manager, responsible for end-to-end management of payroll for over 900 employees. Currently, Lynn works at Pacific Premier Bank as a 1st Vice President, Sr Payroll Manager, overseeing payroll operations and ensuring timely resolution of payroll processes. Throughout their career, Lynn has demonstrated expertise in payroll operations, project management, process improvement, and executive compensation.
Lynn Westerland, CPP, obtained a Payroll Administration Certification from the American Payroll Association in August 2004. Lynn also completed an Emerging Leader Training program at Florida State University in May 2011, and obtained a certification in Everything DiSC Workplace- Building Better Workplace Relationships from DiSC Profile in March 2011. In April 2015, Lynn became a Certified Payroll Professional through the American Payroll Association. As for their formal education, Lynn attended Professional Development from 2002 to 2015, Purdue University Fort Wayne for accounting and business management, and Iowa Wesleyan College for accounting.
