Sumit Purohit is a Computer Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where research and development focus on collaborative distributed knowledge management tools and inference tools utilizing semantic knowledge bases, ontologies, and LinkedData since April 2010. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer Trainee position at SeaChange International, developing web services and database migration solutions, along with an Associate System Engineer role at IBM India Pvt, supporting business and logistics workflows for Vodafone Spain. Early career also includes an internship at Bliss Intelligent Technology, concentrating on Hindi Optical Character Recognition software development. Sumit holds a PhD in Graph Analytics from Washington State University, a Master's degree in Semantic Web, Networks, Web Services, and Algorithms from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from MBM Engineering College.
