Sam Chatterjee has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sam currently holds the position of Chief Data Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since January 2023. Sam has also worked at the same company as a Team Lead in Scalable Analytics and Decision Optimization from October 2020.
Before joining Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Sam worked as a Senior Data/Operations Research Scientist from January 2018 to December 2022 and as a Team Lead in Decision Modeling and Optimization from July 2018 to September 2020.

Sam started their career as a Traffic Simulation Engineer at Stantec from March 2006 to August 2006. Sam also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from January 2004 to January 2006.
Sam Chatterjee's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Honors) from Punjab Engineering College, which was obtained from 1999 to 2003. Finally, Sam completed a Postdoctoral program at the University of Southern California from 2010 to 2014, specializing in Operations Research and Risk Analysis.
