Vanessa Melamede Berman is an experienced professional in public health and program evaluation, currently serving as an Associate Program Evaluator and Opioid Harm Reduction Evaluation Consultant at the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation since June 2018. In addition, Vanessa has been a Project Manager and Infectious Disease Specialist at the Howard Center since October 2008. Prior experience includes coordinating the Adult Viral Hepatitis Program for the State of Vermont from August 2006 to October 2008 and serving as a Project Manager at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 2005 to 2006. Vanessa holds a Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Health from Boston University School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Vermont.
