Carlos Arredondo Cantillana is an experienced professional in engineering and maintenance, currently serving as the SCADA & Protection Engineering Head at Pacific Hydro Chile since May 2019 and previously holding the position of Control & Protection Engineering Head since July 2010. Notable achievements include leading the recovery of the Pangal power plant through modernization of protection and automatic control systems and overseeing the commissioning and commissioning of five generating units. Carlos also has significant experience in the maintenance of hydraulic control and protection systems at Cachapoal and Chacayes power plants and has held previous roles as Production Engineer at PacificHydro Chile and Supervisor of Control System Maintenance at Endesa. Carlos Arredondo Cantillana holds a degree from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, obtained from 1989 to 1993.
