Nikesh Gondchawar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and hardware architecture. Currently serving as Director of Engineering and Head of AI at Vicon Industries since February 2022, Nikesh has also been a Member of the Board of Studies for Applied Sciences and Humanities at P. R. Pote Patil College of Engineering and Management since October 2023. Prior roles include Chief Hardware Architect and Head of AI at Cemtrex Inc. from January 2018 to February 2022, and Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer, and Research Head at Slightgen Solutions from January 2014 to December 2017. Academically, Nikesh holds a Master of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Sinhagad College of Engineering, Pune, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from P. R. Pote College of Engineering & Management.
