Renier Viljoen is a seasoned engineering professional with a specialized focus on mine ventilation and refrigeration. Currently serving as a Senior Ventilation Engineer at OZ Minerals since March 2023, Viljoen previously gained extensive experience as a Mechanical Engineer at BBE Group from January 2014 to March 2023. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria (2007-2011) and a Certificate in Mine Environmental Control from the Chamber of Mines RSA (2016-2019), complemented by foundational education from Pretoria Boys High School (2002-2006).
