Jonathan Shaw has over 13 years of work experience in the medical field. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Sales for OXOS Medical. From 2019-2021, they were the Vice President of Sales and Director of Sales Operations for Ermi LLC. From 2015-2019, they held the position of Marketing Manager for NFANT Labs LLC. From 2014-2015, they were the Co-founder and Secretary of the Board for TendoNova. From 2009-2014, they worked as a Physical Therapist for PRN Acute Care in multiple locations. Jonathan also worked as a Physical Therapist for Emory Physical Therapy from 2008-2009 and PT Solutions from 2007-2008.

Jonathan Shaw obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General, with a Minor in Computer Science from The University of Alabama between 2000 and 2004. Jonathan then went on to the University of South Alabama to obtain their Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in the field of Physical Therapy between 2004 and 2007. Lastly, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology to obtain their Masters of Biomedical Innovation and Development in the field of Biomedical device development between 2013 and 2014.
