Junhua Tang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in automated driving technologies, perception systems, and biomedical engineering. Currently employed at Oxipital AI since March 2021, Junhua specializes in RGBD and point cloud perception for automated bin and conveyor picking, along with developing synthetic data pipelines for machine learning applications. Prior roles include product ownership and algorithm engineering at Aptiv, focusing on map and localization software for L2+ automated driving, and leading advanced feature development at General Motors, particularly in active safety and deep learning object detection. Junhua has also contributed as a mentor at Udacity and held research and teaching positions during academic studies, earning Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a B.S. from Zhejiang University.
