Luisana Carballo is a medical writer at Oxford PharmaGenesis since October 2020, previously serving as an associate medical writer. Prior experience includes a PhD graduate student role at the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology, where responsibilities encompassed data collection and fieldwork involving behavioural observations of Red phalaropes. Luisana also worked as a sales assistant at Ryman Stationery, contributing to customer service and inventory management, and held positions at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, including assistant in the Laboratory of Animal Behaviour and teaching assistant in various biological modules. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Behavioural Ecology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, a Master's degree in Biodiversity, Evolution and Conservation from UCL, and a Licentiate degree in Biology from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
