Amy Filby

Associate Principal Medical Editor at Oxford PharmaGenesis

Amy Filby is an experienced medical editor and researcher with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Associate Principal Medical Editor at Oxford PharmaGenesis since January 2013, Amy has edited a wide range of medical communications materials and previously worked in a dual role as a Writer/Editor focusing on rare and orphan diseases. Prior freelance work included editing journal manuscripts for ESL scientists, enhancing language and formatting for successful publication. As an Associate Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, Amy managed national and international research projects in collaboration with major pharmaceutical clients and government agencies, while earlier roles included scientific manuscript copy-editing at Greenpeace and production assistance in publishing. Amy holds a PhD and a First-Class BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Exeter.
