Máté Czentye

Development Scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies

Máté Czentye has a diverse work experience in various fields. Máté started working at Oxford Nanopore Technologies in 2022 as a Development Scientist. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Kent from 2018 to 2022 as a Subject Specific Mentor and Outreach Ambassador. Máté also worked at Macknade Fine Foods as an Account Assistant from 2015 to 2022. In 2021, they had a summer internship at the UK Atomic Energy Authority, where they gained experience in CAD geometry production and constructive solid geometry-based neutronics simulations. In 2019, they had another internship at MTA Atomki, where they worked with a research team to assemble and test the Europlanet ICA device, gaining insights into experimental physics and instrumentation for data collection and analysis.

Máté Czentye has a MPhys in Physics with Astrophysics, which was earned from the University of Kent. Máté pursued this degree from 2018 to 2022, focusing on the field of physics.
