Jean-Matthieu Belzung has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Jean-Matthieu currently works at Oxford Nanopore Technologies as a Principal Production Engineer since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Production Engineer at the same company from March 2017 to May 2023. Before joining Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Jean-Matthieu worked as a Process Development Engineer at GlySure Ltd from August 2014 to February 2017. Jean-Matthieu also served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Ethicon, Inc. from September 2012 to August 2014. Jean-Matthieu gained experience as a Consultant Micro Engineering at Altran from November 2011 to July 2012. Their earlier roles include Manufacturing Engineer and Mechanical Development Engineer at Phonak Acoustic Implants SA from April 2010 to September 2011, and from April 2008 to March 2010, respectively.

Jean-Matthieu Belzung pursued their education at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2002 to 2008. During this time, they obtained a Master of Sc. degree in Microengineering.
