Shayna Mackey is an experienced educator and healthcare professional, currently serving as an English Language Arts Teacher at Oxford City Schools District since August 2021. Prior to this role, Shayna worked as a Community Health Worker at AlaHealth from October 2019 to July 2021, and as a Risk and Quality Management Analyst at Quality of Life Health Services, Inc. from January 2008 to September 2019, where responsibilities included data collection and quality assurance in maternity care. Additionally, Shayna served as a Community Outreach Nurse, engaging with communities to promote health initiatives. Shayna's earlier experience includes a Media Relations Internship at Jacksonville State University in July 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Jacksonville State University, as well as a Licensed Practical Nursing certificate from Gadsden State Community College.
