Dave Scholes has over two decades of experience in various housing roles, currently serving as the Affordable Housing Supply - Corporate Lead at Oxford City Council since December 2000. In this position, Scholes oversees the delivery of affordable housing and manages the Affordable Housing Supply programme and team, aligning with Council priorities. Previous roles at Oxford City Council include Housing Strategy and Needs Manager, where focus shifted to increasing affordable housing, and Housing Needs Manager, managing strategic housing teams to enhance homelessness and allocations services. Earlier experience includes a Housing Officer role at Guinness Trust, emphasizing housing management and development. Scholes holds a PG Diploma in Housing Studies from Oxford Brookes University and a BA (Hons) in Planning Studies from Oxford Polytechnic.
