Dr.raja Adnan Razzaq

Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies

Dr. Raja Adnan Razzaq is a Research Associate at the African Studies Centre of the University of Oxford, with concurrent roles as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and as an External Examiner at the National Defence University Islamabad and Quaid-i-Azam University. Dr.Raja Adnan's professional experience also includes serving as a Guest Professor and Research Fellow at Quaid-i-Azam University, a Peer Reviewer at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), and holding positions as Country Director for Friends of Humanity in Chicago and Chairman of the Society for Migration Studies since April 2010. Dr. Razzaq has served as a Country Expert for AMERA International and was a Visiting Researcher at the Centre of South Asian Studies at the University of Cambridge in early 2023. Dr.Raja Adnan's academic career includes a role as an Assistant Professor at the National Defence University Islamabad from 2017 to 2022. Dr. Razzaq's educational background spans several respected institutions, including Gordon College, Heidelberg University, Margalla Rawalpindi Campus, and Quaid-e-Azam University.
