Marcos Ibanez has extensive experience in international cooperation and funding, currently serving as the Executing Affiliate Funding Manager at Oxfam Interm贸n since October 2019, after holding previous roles including Executing Affiliate Funding Officer and Funding and Compliance Officer. Prior positions include serving as a board member at LYRSA, Assistant Programme Officer for South Sudan with the Jesuit Refugee Service, and International Cooperation Desk Officer for Africa and Asia at the ALBOAN Foundation. Marcos also has a background in humanitarian project management in Burundi with the Jesuit Refugee Service and has worked as a patent examiner at the European Patent Office. Earlier career experiences include mechanical engineering roles at GKN Driveline. Marcos holds a degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Vigo.
