Carlos Botella Calatayud has extensive experience in international cooperation and public finance, currently serving as the Coordinator for Latin America and Senior Advisor on Inequality at Oxfam Intermón since September 2016. Previously, Carlos held key positions at the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID), including roles focused on financial cooperation projects and public financial management. With a strong academic background that includes a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from SOAS University of London, Carlos has contributed significantly to the development of strategies addressing inequality, advising country teams on program design and implementation, and conducting in-depth analyses on public finance needs across Latin America. Additionally, Carlos has experience in project management, financial analysis, and consulting in the non-profit sector, enhancing the effectiveness and impact of various cooperation initiatives.
