Karelia Isabel P. is a media professional with extensive experience in communications and journalism. Currently serving as a Media Officer at Oxfam America since December 2021, Karelia has previously held the position of Director of Communications at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington, DC from June 2014 to December 2021, where Karelia Isabel also worked as a Communications Associate. Additional experience includes serving as Alumni Relations & Data Coordinator at Holy Trinity School Georgetown from August 2012 to August 2016, and internships with the International Center for Journalists as a Knight International Journalism Fellowships Intern in early 2010, and the Embassy of Mexico as a Press Office Intern in late 2009. Karelia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from The George Washington University and has studied at The American University of Paris and Universidade Federal da Bahia.
