Justin Xu has a wealth of experience in the film industry. Justin began their career in 2011 with Magilm Pictures as a Line Producer & Senior Assistant to VP of Production. In this role, they oversaw and cultivated overseas co-production and post-production relationships with distribution and visual effects companies, managed the Vice President's daily schedule, and coordinated and developed the VP's pipeline of film projects. Justin then assumed the role of Production Manager, working in all stages of film project planning and project development, assisting filmmakers during pre- and post-production activities, and building and developing business and media contacts with a wide-array of Chinese film talent. In addition, they served as Marketing Manager, planning movie marketing strategies for over twenty films, designing marketing campaigns, and using the rise of social media in China to create innovative viral social media campaigns. In 2016, Justin moved on to OX3 Productions Corp as Marketing Director, coordinating and overseeing the development of online tv shows, documentaries and other digital content, managing the production of marketing campaign assets, and communicating timing and deliverable assets with all departments.

Justin Xu attended Beijing Film Academy from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Production Management.
