Rodrigo Barnes is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Owkin since September 2022, Rodrigo oversees the development of innovative systems for managed access to medical data to enhance biomedical research and clinical trial optimization. Previously, as Chief Technology Officer at Aridhia from March 2008 to August 2022, Rodrigo contributed to product strategy and agile development for healthcare services. Early career roles include project management and software engineering positions at various organizations, such as Cognia EU Ltd and Axiope Limited, where Rodrigo successfully led R&D projects and built commercial-grade software. Rodrigo's educational background includes a MA (Hons) in Philosophy and Mathematics from The University of Edinburgh.
