Alex Doorey is an accomplished communications and sustainability professional currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Marketing & Sustainability at OVO since September 2022. Recognized as the PRCA Comms Leader of the Year 2023, part of the PRWeek In House Team of the Year 2023, and named among the 24 Most Influential Women in PR in 2024, Alex leads in brand and marketing, sponsorship, corporate affairs, sustainability, public affairs, and social media strategy. Prior roles include Director of External Communications and Sustainability at Virgin Media O2, where Alex launched an ESG strategy post-merger, and Head of UK Communications at eBay, overseeing media strategies and corporate communications. Alex's early career included key positions in corporate communications at Sainsbury's, strategic advisory roles for The Conservative Party, and media production at Sky. Alex holds multiple degrees, including a MA in Television Current Affairs Journalism, and is furthering education in Corporate Finance at the University of Oxford.
