Adriel Lyles has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Starting in 2016, Adriel worked at the Greater Miami Youth Symphony as a Youth Orchestra Coordinator, where they handled event organization, marketing, registration, and logistics for over 300 students. They also managed a library of musical repertoire and supervised office assistants. In 2017, Adriel joined the Miami Music Project as the Interim Director of Educational Programming, overseeing educational initiatives. They also served as a Lead Teaching Artist and Office Assistant during their time with the organization. From 2018 to 2019, Adriel worked at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra as the Coordinator of Learning & Community Engagement, providing support for program planning and implementation and managing event details with schools and community partners. Adriel then joined The Dream Unfinished in 2019 as the Personnel Manager, responsible for contracting and managing musicians for performances and promoting social and racial justice through classical music. In 2019, Adriel also began working at Carnegie Hall as an Associate in Learning & Engagement, contributing to educational initiatives. In 2021, Adriel joined the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation as a Senior Project Manager. Their responsibilities included overseeing projects until 2023. Lastly, starting in 2022, Adriel became the Head of Programming & Operations at Overthrow New York.
