Inesha Premaratne currently serves as Advisor to the CEO at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, a position held since December 2022. Previously, Inesha was a Strategy Manager at Valora from December 2021 to December 2022 and worked as a Law Clerk for the Democratic Staff at the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in early 2021. Inesha's legal experience includes an internship with the U.S. Department of State and a summer clerkship at Debevoise & Plimpton, alongside a law clerk role at the East African Court of Justice. Prior to the legal field, Inesha worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and served as a Research Assistant at Harvard Kennedy School. Notably, Inesha co-founded GrowLanka, a mobile platform supporting job seekers in Northern Sri Lanka, recognized by multiple publications and funded by several prestigious organizations. Inesha holds a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Harvard University and a Doctor of Law from Stanford Law School.
