Amy Thompson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Team Lead for Content Metadata Services at OverDrive since September 2021. Previously, Amy held the position of Store Support Team Supervisor at Whole Foods Market from August 2015 to September 2021, where responsibilities included training staff, managing store operations, and exceeding fundraising goals for various charities. Prior to this, Amy was a Software Developer Apprentice at We Can Code IT, gaining skills in C#, .NET, and JavaScript. As an entrepreneur at Rural Urban Stuff from August 2011 to August 2015, Amy focused on creating zero-waste products and promoting upcycling through events and social media. Earlier roles include an Associate position at The Exchange, where supervision and training of employees in sales were key responsibilities. Amy obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Kent State University and is currently pursuing a Post-Degree Certificate in Programming and Development at Cuyahoga Community College.
