Emma Verheijke is an experienced professional specializing in sustainability and social impact services. Currently a Partner in Sustainability & Impact Services at Grant Thornton Netherlands since January 2019, Emma leads initiatives to assist organizations in transitioning to a sustainable economy. In addition, Emma serves as a lecturer on sustainability reporting and CSRD at Outvie, as well as a guest lecturer on ESG & CSRD at the Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants. Emma has previously held a supervisory board position at ActionAid Nederland, focusing on social justice issues, and has also served as Managing Director at Sinzer - Grant Thornton. Educationally, Emma holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in International Relations from Utrecht University and a Postgraduate in Business Administration and Management from ICM, alongside various other qualifications in political and global studies.
