Francois van Rooyen serves as the Divisional CFO and Head of Finance Operations at OUTsurance since October 2018, managing costs in the Motor and Non-Motor supply chains and negotiating large commercial contracts. Prior to this, Francois held the position of Head of Finance for Short Term Insurance at Absa Group, overseeing financial outcomes across African markets, and previously worked as a Manager overseeing finance functions at Barclays Africa. Early career experience includes roles at Deloitte UK and South Africa, focusing on audit management and finance transformation, as well as an Assistant Manager role at Ernst & Young. Francois earned a B.Com in Accounting from North-West University and completed the General Management Program in Organizational Leadership at GIBS Business School in 2018.
