Suniya Khatun is an experienced Science and Maths tutor with a strong background in academia and research. Currently serving as a Science and Maths Tutor at Tutor Hunt since September 2017, Suniya also works as an Associate Blog writer and researcher for Outsmart Insight. As a PhD student at UCL under the supervision of Prof. Konstantinos Thalassinos, Suniya focuses on understanding cell competition using Mass Spectrometry-based proteomics. Additional roles include Postgraduate Teaching Assistant positions at UCL and New York University, involvement in various teaching and speaking engagements, and serving as a committee member for the London Proteomic Discussion Group. Suniya’s diverse experience includes a Bioinformatics internship at Public Health England, curriculum development as the Science Team Leader at Keywords English, and contributions to community educational initiatives. Educational qualifications include a PhD from UCL, a BSc Hons in Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University, and a foundation degree in Health Professions from the University of Lincoln.
