Andrew Winterman has a diverse work experience in the software engineering and data analysis fields. Andrew started their career as an Intern at Reed College in 2010. From there, they worked as a Project Assistant and then as a Data Scientist at Periscopic, where they translated data into clear charts and implemented software for machine learning and data analysis. Andrew then joined Urban Airship as a Javascript Engineer and later as a Senior Data Engineer, where they gained expertise in data engineering. In 2019, Andrew worked at Mercy Corps as a Technical Lead and Product Owner, where they rebuilt a legacy website using modern Python and Django, led a technical team, and managed the alignment of technical and business concerns. Andrew continued their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Bumped and then as a Staff Engineer at Altruist, where they took on the role of a Lead Software Engineer, focusing on notifications and banking products. Andrew is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Outreach.

Andrew Winterman received their high school diploma from Sage Hill School in 2006. After that, they went on to attend Reed College from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.
