Rachel Matchett is an accomplished industry leader with extensive experience in visual effects and production management. Currently, Rachel serves as the Managing Director for Outpost VFX in the UK since September 2021. Prior to this role, Rachel was Co President at Ghost VFX and held the position of Worldwide Head of VFX at Technicolor from June 2018 to May 2021. Rachel's earlier career includes significant contributions at MPC, where roles ranged from Global Head of Production to Central Production Manager for Film, as well as a decade at Sherbet, where Rachel progressed from Production Manager to Producer at a BAFTA-winning independent production company. Rachel began a career in production as a Production Assistant at Astley Baker Davies, working on animated television series. Rachel holds a degree in Graphic Design with a specialization in illustration from Bath Spa University and completed a Foundation in Arts and Design at Ulster University.
