Laura-Jayne Canneman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Laura-Jayne most recently worked as the Director of Operations at Outpost Management Ltd. Prior to that, they held the same position at Our Society, where they were responsible for several properties under development in the Build to Rent industry. Before that, they served as the Regional Operations Manager at Greystar Europe Holdings Ltd., overseeing a portfolio of premium build to rent apartments and leading operational consulting projects with real estate and investment companies. In earlier roles, Laura-Jayne worked as a Residence Manager at both the University of the Arts London and Oxford Brookes University, where they managed residential halls and implemented initiatives to improve customer service. Laura-Jayne also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, conducting research and assisting with the publication of an academic historical work. Laura-Jayne's work experience also includes coordinating educational programs for foreign language students at EF Language Schools for Professionals.

Laura-Jayne Canneman completed their education in U.S. History with a Master's degree (MSt.) from the University of Oxford in 2013. Prior to that, they attained a Bachelor's degree in History from Oxford Brookes University, graduating in 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, Laura-Jayne Canneman has also obtained several project management certifications, including the PRINCE2 Practitioner Certificate in Project Management from the ILX Group in 2017, the PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate in Project Management (year of completion unspecified), and the Starting Out in Project Management certification from the Association for Project Management in 2014.
