Rene Linke has held significant roles in logistics and transportation management since 1997, demonstrating expertise in various capacities. Currently, Rene serves as the Head of Logistics Transport at Outokumpu, focusing on people management, RFQ handling and negotiation, contract management, logistics service provider development, and project management. Previous positions include Manager of Transportation and Logistics Services Purchasing at Outokumpu, Team Leader of Carrier Management at Arvato Digital Services, and Specialist in Carrier Management, where responsibilities encompassed transport service purchasing and performance monitoring. Early in the career, Rene worked as a Certified Freight Forwarding Agent at Frans Maas / DSV, managing transport planning and customs clearance. Rene holds a BEng in Logistiek & Technische Vervoerskunde from Fontys Venlo University of Applied Sciences and an Industrial Engineering degree in Logistics/Transportation from Hochschule Niederrhein.
