Nina is the Principal Analyst at OBH. She studied Sport and Exercise Science before completing an MSc in Physical Activity, Nutrition and Public Health at the University of Bristol. Nina joined OBH from the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (formerly Public Health England), working for the Local Knowledge and Intelligence Service, which involved close working with local authorities and other local systems to deliver bespoke analysis, dashboards and reports at a local, regional and national footprint.
Nina has a strong background in training, initiating a training programme on population health intelligence in the North West to build capability and capacity within local systems as well as developing e-learning modules on data visualisation and population health management. Nina was heavily involved in the Covid-19 response, developing and designing a Covid portal to get data out to local systems to help them understand trends and patterns in the data.
Nina has a keen interest in population health, epidemiology and long-term conditions. She also has experience working in a local authority setting as the lead analyst at North Somerset Council and in the NHS as a Dietetic Assistant.
