Elana Berton is a Senior User Experience Practitioner at CSIRO, focusing on bridging engineering and human behaviors in the context of bushfire risk management for the National Bushfire Impact Centre. Concurrently, Elana serves as an Observer on the board of Arts Access Victoria and holds the position of Director of Mentoring Thought Leadership at Out for Australia, where responsibilities include data analysis and overseeing the flagship mentoring program for LGBTQIA+ professionals. Previously, Elana worked as a User Experience Consultant at Vision Australia and as a Systems-led Designer at the Australian Taxation Office, among other roles. Elana holds a Bachelor of Communication Design from RMIT University and has completed various programs in leadership, service design, and inclusive practices.
