Ferdinando Almeida, Ph.D., currently serves as Director of Business and Innovation and Director of Research and Development at Ourofino Saúde Animal since May 2020. Prior to this role, Ferdinando held positions as Director and Scientist in Animal Nutrition Research at ADM from July 2017 to April 2020, and as a Research Scientist in Swine Nutrition at Novus International, Inc. from May 2014 to July 2017. Ferdinando's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Animal Sciences and a Master of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where Ferdinando also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Assistant. Ferdinando began studies with a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia.
