Cheryl Moore has a strong background in human resources, with over a decade of experience in various leadership roles. Cheryl started their career in human resources at United Technologies, where they served as an HR Manager and Senior Generalist. During their time at United Technologies, Cheryl was part of a global HR team that worked on streamlining HR functions across the company. Cheryl then moved on to become the Director of Human Resources at Bowen Center before joining SIRVA as a Director of Human Resources. At SIRVA, they were responsible for implementing strategic HR functions across multiple locations, including Canada. Cheryl then joined CRST The Transportation Solution, Inc. as a Human Resources Leader. In their most recent role as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Our Sunday Visitor, Cheryl provided guidance and leadership in all HR functions and led a team in areas such as compensation, talent management, and organizational development. Throughout their career, Cheryl has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of HR, including employee relations, staffing, and benefits processes.
Cheryl Moore completed an Advanced Credential in Executive Coaching and Organizational Leadership at Townsend Institute Huntington University from 2015 to 2016. Cheryl also holds an MBA degree in Business, with a focus on HR, from Indiana Institute of Technology. In addition, Cheryl obtained a Master's degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University Bloomington, majoring in Speech and Hearing with a minor in Psychology.
Cheryl has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. Cheryl has a Red Team Coaching Certificate in Leadership and Organizational Strategy from Coaching.com, which they obtained in May 2023. In February 2022, Cheryl obtained a Brain-Based Coaching Certificate from the NeuroLeadership Institute. Additionally, they hold a Hardiness Resilience Gauge (HRG) Certification from OKA (Otto Kroeger Associates), which they obtained in August 2021. Furthermore, Cheryl has an EQi 2.0/EQ 360 Certification and a Change Style Indicator (CSI) & Change Navigator (CN) Certification from OKA, obtained in October 2019 and July 2019, respectively. Prior to that, they obtained a certification in Narrative Coaching by Dr. David Drake from WBECS in 2019 and a Conversational Intelligence Certification by Judith E. Glaser from WBECS in 2018.
