Kristina Lavoie is a seasoned Behavioral Health Clinician currently working at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital since April 2019, where individual and group therapy for adult patients is provided, utilizing a therapeutic framework grounded in polyvagal theory, feminism, and antiracism. Previous experience includes serving as an Emergency Services Clinician at Gateway Healthcare Services, where Kristina evaluated clients for mental illness and determined appropriate care levels, and as a Court Clinician at Gateway Healthcare Inc., tasked with evaluating defendants for mental illness and recommending treatment to the court. Kristina has also acted as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer and completed an MSW internship with the Office of the Mental Health Advocate. Educational credentials include an MSW from Rhode Island College and a BFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design.
