Alan K. has extensive experience in healthcare advocacy and holistic practices, serving as a Volunteer Group Leader at Our House Grief Support Center since October 2018 and a member of the Global Initiative Against HPV & Cervical Cancer's Member Advisory Board since January 2010. With a career spanning over 37 years in laboratory medicine and healthcare business strategy, Alan has actively contributed to various organizations, including the National Cervical Cancer Coalition, where Alan co-founded the organization and served as Chairman and Executive Director. Other roles include serving on the boards of Warriors at Ease and the American Sexual Health Association and being part of the National Cancer Institute's Consumer Liaison Group. As an independent consultant since 2001, Alan focuses on yoga and meditation for cancer patients, complemented by numerous certifications in yoga and positive psychology. Alan's educational background includes studies in sociology and marketing, alongside extensive yoga training.
