Jarmo Mikkola is an experienced professional in the fields of ICT and business, currently serving as the Director (Dean) of the School of ICT and Business at Oulu University of Applied Sciences since April 2023. As a co-founder of Near Real Ltd since 2014, Jarmo has contributed to innovative health tech solutions that enable remote patient care. Previously, Jarmo held dual roles as Regional Director and Sales Director for Corporate Customers at Elisa from 2010 to 2022, where leadership involved managing a team focused on serving over 100 organizations in Northern Finland. Earlier positions included account management at KPMG Oy Ab and sales management roles at Datainfo Solutions and Fujitsu Services Oy. Jarmo holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Science from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu.
