Jenny Cottingham has extensive work experience in both the dental and education sectors. Jenny began their career in 1994 as a Fourth Grade Teacher in Ottawa Elementary School District #141 - McKinley School, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they joined Ottawa Dental Laboratory, LLC, first as an Integration Manager until September 2022, and then as the Director of Human Resources starting in October 2021.

Jenny Cottingham obtained their Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Illinois University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995.
