Hiruni Nirmali began their work experience in 2016 at HSBC, where they worked as a Fund Administrator from January 2016 to October 2019. In 2019, they joined OTR Wheel Engineering, Inc as a Finance Executive, and their employment is currently ongoing.

Hiruni Nirmali completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Colombo, from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a BSc. Finance (special) Degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, graduating in 2016.
